I guess it would have made it easier to "move house" and although it doesn't qualify as a mobile home, I would imagine that you could get a permit to move it. After all, in Qld it is nothing out of the ordinary to buy an old house and have it trucked to your property. I lived for many years in an old Queenslander that had been cut in half, moved and reassembled (it was 40' wide). But I think the CP owner would be a bit shocked if you turned up in that!
