We take on the Gibb River Road tomorrow, all the way to Mitchell Falls and Kalumburu. Plan on leaving the van at Drysdale River Station.
Blaze, I promise to slow down for road works, in fact I think I will be taking the whole trip pretty slowly.
Been here in Kununurra since Monday, getting a new bull bar mounting for the Cruiser. Noticed as we were leaving Darwin a few weeks ago it had a running crack in it, and wasn't game to do any rough stuff like it was.
Had two days at Lake Argyle, and took a sunset cruise. It sure is a big lump of water. Can recommend the cruise to anyone up there, it is so good it is booked out two days ahead.
Caught my first legal barra at Victoria River on the way down from Darwin. It was Delicious.
In Darwin we were doing volunteer work for three weeks at Nungalinya Church College. Lorraine was cataloguing archived records, while I was doing retiling and painting.
While in Darwin caught up with Tess for a morning tea, might of even had scones and pikelets.
So now it is on to The Gibb and then Derby and Broom.
Go well, Brandt and Lorraine.

Wow, great to hear from you both Lorraine and Brandt, it's been ages. I am really pleased everything is going well for you both. Please take it easy over there and enjoy the GRR then the other great places as I'm sure you will. I will keep looking in on your blog though.
I am in dry doc at the moment looking after my sick 5 year old granddaughter, Never mind.
Again, great to hear from you.
