One of the best thing for me being on the road for me is being able choose the area of Australia you want to be in in any season . How many follow the seasons or does this not matter to you.

That's exactly why after only 12 months here in Mildura we are putting our house on the market and getting back on the road.

A bit too cold for in in Mildura Tezza? You could always keep the house and be a winter-nomad, returning for summers?
We decided to do that when we moved to the coast but so far haven't been anywhere, we like it here.

We sold up in Jimboomba in the rain, and apart for our first 6 months on the road, have been pretty much chased by rain ever since. Our fault entirely, we should have gone anti clockwise. However, had we gone anti clockwise, we probably would have been in the north for the wet! Can't win.
Have now spent two winters in the south, first one in SA, and now in WA.

That sounds like my idea of heaven :) Summer is definately not the time to be travelling in WA.

Sarg....a bit cooooool. That's an understatement... its brass monkey weather right now!! We've had enough of the cold here in Canberra and just this week listed our house so we can head off to enjoy some warm weather in the not too distant future.

Obviously the right time to travel depends on where your home base is (if any) and personal preference. For me, summer (the wet season here) is the time to be home, where there is air-conditioning and I can catch up on the gardening. Mid autumn to late spring is the time to be in my camper van and hit the road!
