We were there Friday, a very pleasant day out, We were staying in Port Macquarie and added it to the list of things to do. We had been to the Brisbane shows and once to the gold Coast show.
The food served by the CWA was good and it was excellent to have the Lady get me a black coffee that I could enjoy.
Come home a bit poorer after buying yet another peeler to add to the dozen or so in the drawer, that they show how easy it is to peel pumpkin with and then when you get home we can not make it work. I did buy 2 fishing lures that the guy was demonstrating how to use and catch fish with in the glass tank, spent 3 hours that afternoon and half the next and the next trying, still no fish.
Good day out. Am I the 2nd GN.

Worked the main gate Saturday for the Westpac Chopper. Like most shows same thing just a different colour scheme and a lot of gadgets that never see the light of day once home.. The tucker from the food stalls was good and the full display of Hobbies was worth my attention.
I was surprised by the price pf some vans, they are certainly getting up there at $98000.00 + onroad cost not much under $60000.00 'O/R bit pricey for an foam esky on wheels and an IKEA flat pack fitout

We were there Saturday, and yes, pretty much the same stuff on display. Speaking of pricey, what about $85,000 for a camper trailer? The chilli kranskys were good though.

Radar, you were targeting the wrong fish, you have to find the ones in a glass tank as they are trained to strike those lures.LOL.

All these GNs at the show and we didn't know about you! We were there on Saturday, enjoyed wandering around, spent more than we should have, too.
We're property-minding out at Long Flat until the end of August, in case anyone's in the area. We also get into Wauchope and Port Macquarie at least twice a week while John's going to hydrotherapy at Port Hospital - and we know a couple of good coffee shops!

Agree wholeheartedly with you, Wombat - excellent coffee, and they don't overcook it!
JC, we won't be able to make it on the 29th or 30th, we'll be moving from one property (Long Flat) to another (Redbank); would you still be in the area the following week?

We were there on Saturday. Maybe we should have asked a similar question before we went, and maybe had a chance to meet each other. Never mind, theres always the next one.
