Simple question and hoping for a "simple" answer ? Have a roof-mounted internal wind-up Wineguard aerial which seems to be stuck down somehow
Do not want to force it as it'll probably break something . Have yet to try someone up top while I try to wind it up from inside
Any suggestions thankfully received

I had mine get stuck in the half way position. Silicone spray works a treat - wind, when they are left up overnight etc can slightly dislodge the spokes and that can also be a cause. The advice given to me by the repairer was always wind the antenna down when not in use and every 6 months or so spray with silicone.

I have never had mine actually get stuck but it has become hard to wind so from the top I have sprayed into the cable some silicone lubricant and it solved the problem

Thanks all......much appreciated. Been under Stormcover for 6 months so the silicone lubricant seems to be the way (retrospectively anyway) to go.

My 4x4be aerial got stuck once during a trip on Gibb River Rd , must have got some dust in it,all I had was a can of silicne lubricant so hoped for the best and bingo worked no probs and never had any more stuck aerial .
