From 15th November to 17th November in Echuca 2013, look after two small dogs.
Halfpint, check out the "classifieds" on our own website: The Grey Nomads. I would include the link, but for some reason tonight, I cannot get onto the main site.
There are listings there for grey nomads who are available for house sitting.
Thanks Sheba, what would we do without you, that is us that are computer illiterate

Could anyone tell what the go is with housesitters. If you don't want stuff done just property minded without access to house. Costs etc. I have no idea.

jetj the idea with the house sitter is just to look after your property no money exchanges hands. The house sitter couple we have coming are a member of a house sitting agency and they pay a fee to them and they advertise there services. they have also supplied references and we have contacted these people so all is well there. Regarding not wanting people going into your home just minding your property, the idea is they use your house unless they have a caravan and you have some sort of facility on your property IE toilet and shower /laundry for them to use. I think if you have nothing to be done IE dogs/cats etc to be looked after you are probably better off getting a good friend or relative to look at things why you are away.
Just my thoughts, Good Luck in making the decision.

Don't worry, other people beat me to it sometimes. And I'm no expert.
