Just received this message from the owners in a CAW Newsletter, Quote;
"NO - Camps Australia Wide has not been sold!!"
"While we were on our recent trip we had quite a number of people approach us to ask if the rumour was true!"
"This being that Camps Australia Wide has been sold to Big4 Holiday Parks and that there will be no more camps books ever printed.......... This is simply NOT true, we are traveling and researching for Camps 8. If you hear this story on your travels please squash it!!!!" Unquote.

As a matter of fact I contacted the owners awhile ago directly and put their reply with the same info on a GN post.
However, this latest info has just been released on a Camps Australia Wide email newsletter due to their experience on a recent CAW field trip where they were approached by many asking about it.
Obviously many were still not aware it was a furphy, so doesn't hurt to post the CAW recent comments for those who may not know about it.
