n our way to Canberra to visit floriard and heaps of other venues over the next two weeks but unfortunately one of the things we were most interested in has finished the Turner exhibition but with the 100th anniversary and heaps of other great things to see should be a great couple of weeks. We will be staying at the Capital City Caravan park and we hope its ok.
We have a list of places to visit some found by our research and some supplied by friends and we are both looking forward to a bit of relaxation and a couple of very nice reds around 1600 each day.

Canberra is a great place AT. Make sure you put the War Memorial on your definite to do list, gold coin donation to get in and well worth the visit.
Kindergarten playtime is in recess at the moment so you can't see the kids arguing and fighting but well worth a visit to all that presinct.
Enjoy whatever you see and do there.

My favourite places are the National Portrait Gallery and Old Parliament House. I spend hours in both of them.

I hope Floriade has recovered by the time you get there. We had some heavy rains last week and I have heard the flowers got flattened. But apart from that Nightfest is great and there's lots to see. And you can always go around in circles if you get lost.

We stayed at the Alivio at O'Connor recently... very expensive! But close to the city if that suits you.

There are empty spaces each day at the Capital City caravan park so should be no problem also it used to be called The White Ibis Caravas park but now has new owner and new name, see you when you get here.
