To head off over to the South NSW Coast. Got the call yesterday while moving my daughter and her partner into their new house to hit the highways and byways and set Navlady for Batemans Bay.
I'll miss all the gale force winds, heavy rain and the cold here but I'm prepared to leave it behind for warmer weather and sun. The things us Grey Nomads do really as you would all know.
So I will be over there by Monday arvo ready for the hard yards of house sitting so if anyone is in that area yell out as usual and we could just meet up.
Geee I hope I remember how to start a lawn mower . Work, bugger.
Yehhhhhh, party time

No no Dougwe. We are not letting you have that wish. We could use some more rain on the coast. And YES - it is still blowing a gale - but if it turns to SE like they promise it will blow you here faster!
Travel safe and look forward to seeing you. Maybe we could meet copper1 too!

Sounds like a good get together, possibly at the starfish deli, sometime down the track Ruth we travel from time to time down to the Bay, I Know, I Know it's only 60k's away but fingers crossed our new van should be here in a couple of weeks so I am hoping to be busy kitting her out for the maiden voyage in November and then off to Tassie in January already sorted out the insurance today, could not believe the huge price range but it's sorted now and nearly $250 cheaper for a more expensive van, compared to what I had the Coromal insured for. Nothing else, to do in this wind other than ring insurance company's one job less to do, and now it's done.

All the best Doug, didn't like hanging around house sitting but each to their own I guess.
I have been complaining about too much heat after several days over 40 degrees around Isisford, after hearing about your weather perhaps I shouldn't complain.
Much better now in Mitchell next town Roma so I have out run the heat but not the sun John

Brandt and Lorraine have no competition with my cooking but I am getting better after Heather's assistance with the potato bake.
The box on the back of the coaster has had a few workouts and will get more now that I am getting out of the dry inland. John

Dougwe, sorry your ocean comment went right over my head. Yes, plenty of water but it's the wrong sort. Why didn't you bring the rain with you? Now it looks as if we have to wait til next weekend.
Brandt, we're keeping our eye on Dougwe while he's in the area. There won't be too many pavs or sherry trifles while he's around. Nice HEALTHY salads on the menu.
