Well, yesterday we planned to move out for a day or so to visit some friends near Ballarat.
Went on here in the morning, found that Highwayman was camped up here - so Patty and I went over to the guy we thought was the likely GN, sure enough this was Roy - GN name Highwayman. Lovely man.
Another guy had arrived and parked just down the way, he went walking with his little dog, in the meantime Dun Workin - Ken Thomas - had arrived, he spoke to this new arrival and discovered it was George57, with his little dog FatDog!
So a good crew here - with us, halfpint (Patty), Ken Thomas, Highwayman (Roy) and George57 (George).
Had a good trip over to Beaufort to friends, stayed overnight, left around lunchtime for the trip back - nice happy hour at Roy's place.
Wonder if we will have any more visitors or campers over the next few days!!!!!

Can I ask re Green Lake where does one go or how far is the closest dump point,as I notice that there is no dump point there and where do all these campers run their grey water to as it is only safe to store grey water for around 24hrs before all sorts of nasties start to multiply.

There is a dump point at Girgarre, not far away, also hot showers and drinking water on tap.

Herbie - as Happy Wanderer says - there is a dump point, hot shower and drinking water available at Girgarre, about 15k away - the water from the lake can be used for washing, dishes, showers etc. Grey water can be put around the trees, they love a drink. Never a problem.
