We had a couple of days away, visiting friends in Beaufort, just overnight, through Maryborough, Lexton - gorgeous countryside.
Only two of us left here now, Ken Thomas and us. George57 left yesterday, and Highwayman (Roy) headed off this morning - Roy will be back in about two weeks he says - and George when he next gets time off work!
Great to meet these two guys - hope to see them again.
Wonder if today will bring any more GN's up here? Hope so!

Sounds like you are having a ball Jules. Hope to be up around that way in a couple of weeks. Of course these plans could well change also.

Be good to meet you Sharon - Marj (Happy Wanderer) will most likely be here the end of this month, and Yeoeleven (John) is coming south now, in Tamworth till early next week.

Will be there in couple weeks. Now at Kumbia for couple nights, recharging a few things while on power.
Totally relaxed here.

I don't know why green lake is so popular but I am very intrigued by the amount of comments about it, so one Day when I get the chance Glenda and myself will do a day trip across country from Buangor to have a look at it and perhaps with a bit of luck catch up with one or two of the grey nomads who sound very interesting and lovely people.

Great spot, albeit that we had a lot of wind and cold about a month ago. Would recommend this free camp to all who like to bush camp.

From November through to at least Easter is the best time to be at Greens. The weather is perfect. Victoria is still experiencing some shocking weather so Greens is bound to be a bit uncomfortable at times.
