The time has come for us to upgrade to a LandCrusier diesel auto. with towing capacity 3500kgs.
Have spent time scanning the internet, but a little confused re all the info.
Would like a 2004 - 05 model, and is that the 100 series that I hear so much about?
I think we would prefer a dealer but also open to private purchase.
Any expert advice and experience re owing one would be much appreciated.

Hey JayDee, we ended up with a Sept built 2009, 200 series 4.5 twin turbo diesel had it about 6 weeks or so. Did a lot of searching and looked at a lot of 100 series but they had to many miles on them for me, which was fair enough given there age. I ended up getting a really good deal at Dubbo City Toyota. I did the trade and deal all via internet and telephone as Dubbo is 580km or and 8 hr drive from Milton here on the coast. The salesman even booked us into a motel etc so no complaints. just waiting on the new van which hopefully should be here in the next couple of weeks. So like anything do your homework and take them for a drive the difference between models, is amazing., and there are some really good deals out there if you are prepared to travel like we did.
