I had the great pleasure of spending the afternoon with yet another member of this great forum, "Mongrel", Alan and Adele, they came all the way down to Batemans Bay from Penrith just west of Sydney and leaving fires not far from them behind in the lap of the gods, just to have lunch and a chat with me. I feel very honoured indeed.
We had a lovely lunch and spent the afternoon chatting away on many different subjects and before we could say grey nomads the time had come to go our own ways. I just had to cross the Clyde River and travel the great distance of 3km but I felt for Alan and Adel as they had to drive all the way back to Penrith.
Oh! We allowed Alan "Mongrel" of his leash while having lunch as it was not a good site seeing him eating out of the bowl on the floor with his bum up in the air. It was a funny site seeing him sit up at the table but much better than the other way mentioned.
Thankyou Alan And Adele for the trip down and lunch, it as usual went way too quick.

No problem C1 and GD.
When are you thinking of getting home Gerty? I'm running out of time. Looks like I will miss you this trip.
I will be leaving here Tuesday morning. Part of me wants to head over to Canberra but the another part wants to head around the coast.
I think the coast will win out though.
Decisions, decisions, decisions. It's getting too hard, I might have to come out of retirement to get away from this stress.

OK Dougwe, I'm reading your post today and I can see nothing about your front lawn, oh well I'll just go back down my hole.

Sorry we couldn't join you for this one Dougwe. Hope you haven't had too many 'long lunches' while you were housesitting. We'll have to review it if you have and set down some 'housesitting rules'. Travel safe as you head home. And I'm sure the coast will be good.

Yeh but I did a good job if I say so myself, looks good. I even filled in all the wombat holes. I've done the housework today and that looks good too. I'm all domesticated now.
Who went of topic in my topic?
