Best thing I have ever bought. Bought 2 folding Zuma elec bikes. 250w brushless, 36v. I am 88 kilos and mine pulls me along at 25klm and also pulls well up hills (I do pedal sometimes) Mine is less battery (black one)
My wife is 46 kg (Chinese) so she leaves me for dead. Have to get a carrier made up for rear of our coach. I was thinking of two U shape channels welded about 30cm apart and square tubing to slide into in the Hayman Reese slot. Any ideas out there??

G'day Bloomoon. I used to have a non motorised fold bike with the folding mechanism in a similar spot and of a similar type construction to yours. I had it attached to a bike rack in the unfolded position. After a few hours on the road, the locking clamp slowly vibrated itself open and the bike was sort of 'flapping' in the breeze if you catch my drift. This caused stress on the mechanism and put it slightly out of shape. I suggest you either have a system that will hold your bike on both sides of the 'hinge'; or a system that will clamp the bike in the closed position holding both halves of the frame. Maybe a slotted section that the wheels drop into as a closed bike, sort of like an open box and someone clever might be able to fit it with a sprung device that allows it to raise/lower to ground level to save a bit of lifting. (I just love spending other people's money).

....so Cloak went and got himself a Chinese wife..........?....Lol.....We have two folding bikes which I keep in zipper bags folded as the dirt dust and grime you will pick up in your gears etc just is not worth it if you wish to ride when you arrive at a location without having to oil and clean..just my thoughts......folding bikes are fantastic and fun....I'm 110Kg and a bit like a pimple on a pumpkin..but no one ever knows who I am..part of the fun of travelling....Hoo Roo

I saw a motorhome with a narrow platform across the back, on which the bloke carried a motor scooter, he folded a ramp down to load/unload it. Might be useful to carry your bikes Bloomoon?
