Yep, "Plendo" David and his lovely wife Carol made the trip down from Melbourne to down town Wonthaggi for a visit today so another lunch down at My club this time. Great lunch in great company yet again. The new chef at the club provided 3 very lovely meals indeed and David had half a cow on his plate, a 800 gram rump sitting atop chips and salad and they reckon I'm naughty, Carol and I had healthy grilled fish.
I hope you behaved down the road at lovers lookout, looking over Bass Strait too.
Thankyou David and Carol for a lovely afternoon.

So how many GNs is that now Dougwe or have you met them before? By the way, I just read a report on your housesitting from c&p. Sounds like you earned your brownie points! And some gold stars too.

Met them before N&R so they don't get added to the tally. Doesn't matter how many times I meet them or how nice people are, they only get on "The List" once.

Will be a pleasure to add you to "The List" Radar and enjoy a good old chat. I am currently camped at my home base in Wonthaggi, South West Gippsland, Victoria and apart from family commitments will be around for a few weeks. I usually put a post up here as to what area I am hanging out in so just keep an eye open and yell out or just PM me, but in the mean time,

Thanks Doug, it was a lovely day catching up on all the news.
I am looking forward to tomorrow when Carol lets me eat again! Serves me right for being not good.
Kilcunda is a lovely spot, but the car park was a bit busy with the "Driver Reviver" in full swing, nice to get a look at the ocean though.
Road was a lot quieter on the way back up, almost more speed cameras than traffic saw three between Phillip Island and Cranbourne.

"Driver Reviver" wow, things are looking up in the area.
Yep the boys in blue, oops, they have a new colour now, dark blue/black will be out in force Tuesday arvo when all the holiday makers head back to the big smoke.
I must add, I actually like the new law enforcers uniform, very spiffy indeed.

Dougwe hi, Marilyn and I like to go to places that that we hear in songs or movies and Wonthaggi in John Williams song is on the list. We did have a trip planed to go down that way next March but Family commitments are going to get in the road and that will be delayed till later. It,s ok plenty to do between times at the moment resting at Redrock on our way to Gosford area. Ralph
