Made it to Melbourne OK. The new motor performed well, much better than the old one, with heaps more torque low down than the old one.
Called into see the gang at Greens, only intending to spend the night. John exclaimed he had not had his pav, so stayed a 2nd night. Really enjoyed being with everybody again and enjoying their company. Keep up the good work everybody while we are away.
Dropped caravan off to be repaired, and was intending to go to Werribee and help a friend paint a house down there, but people who are going to babysit our van while we are home in NZ asked us to help redecorate a rental house with them. So here we are in Gisborne (just above Melbourne) and here we'll be until we fly home on Nov 28th.
Thanks everybody for your thoughts and posts re our cruiser troubles but I am really rapt with the way its going now and really look forward to continuing over here when we come back.
