Well folks it's been a hectic 24 hrs first the new van pick up Friday and today, we headed off to the Bay Caravan Show. Well nothing special to report about the show if anything thought it was lacking compared to previous years, but then they all tend to be the same after you have been to so many. Did however pick up a camper trolley that will make getting the new van into awkward spots easy especially, at home, although they did not do any super specials as they basically have the market cornered but, did save a few hundred dollars on retail. Roxy picked up a nice vacuum cleaner for the new van as well.

I think you are probably right there Garry about when you have been to a few they seem the same each year so why bother, I think I am at that stage. I am set up for what I want so don't really need anything else so don't bother cos I would probably buy something I really didn't need.
You know now that you let Rox get that vac you will be on the end of it while she gives Ruby the cuddles with a wine in hand You might have been better to get you a stubby holder perhaps. (I'll duck for cover now)
Did you end up getting the CV mover we were talking about If so, exe but good choice.
I'm heading out again in a couple of days so that will be good.
Have fun with the new toys but keep up those cuddles for Ruby, well after the vac jobs are done that is.

Gerty there are two type's the CT 1500 will haul up to 1700kg van it weigh's 18kg.
The CT2500-TAM which we got, is suitable for vans up to 2500kg and weigh's 34kg I could pick it up no problem but if you go on UTUBE and type in camper trolley there are heaps of demos of them on there that's were, I found it one night whilst googling caravan movers. The bloke who was at the show is 75 years old and said like the video he drives his up a ramp and carries it in the van he never leaves home without it. I will be keeping mine in the back of the landcruiser and will use it when I think it is necessary, to say on arguments .

Tell us about the caravan mover thingy you bought Copper, that sounds very interesting.
Feeling a bit ordinary this last few weeks so never made it to the Caravan/Camping show, and was soooo looking forward to it and to meeting up with others GN's. We still have our shopping list, but feel better to hear that they didn't have so many specials.

Hey Gerty sorry you are feeling a little off colour, I have attached the brochure for you to read. This will be a marriage saver I never have problems backing into spots but on the rare occasion earlier this year some of the older caravan parks we stayed in were a tight fit. Tamworth was one and Toowoomba was another that I can remember. I first seen this in use at Alice Springs and thought wow that's nifty. My 2 year old grandson will also like it as I will hook it up to the box trailer and let him have a go kids these days are so technically savy he has already mastered a remote control car that we got him and he's not 3 yet.
Now Dougwe MWMM !! you will be pleased to know that Roxy and I are a team and that we will both get may hours of enjoyment out of out new little vacuum I will vacuum my side of the van and she hers OH did I forgot to tell you my side is the OUTSIDE and the car I put a pic up for you as well.
I missed out again this year, don't think i missed much by the sound of things either..

Copper1, Rox will be so pleased with that photo!
More questions about your camper trolley, is it light enough to carry in your tug, or are you only going to use it at home?. Some of us have a "park-from-hell" at home but we've found a few c'parks make it hard with narrow driveways etc.!
