I only saw a fleeting glimpse of the story re a wanted fugitive that has been taken into custody, however was it the Greens turnoff sign shown as his whereabouts? Can anyone add detail to this news item. Hoo Roo.

Me too we grew up around that area as kids used to swim in the lake in summer, it was dry for many years, good to see water in it again, right on the westen hwy to adelaide

Was indeed the other Greens Lake - near Horsham.
My son rang me to tell me about it, thinking it was here - but read on and found it was on the Western Highway!!!

It wasn't Greens Lake or Green Hill Lake. It was Green Lake a few K's east (Melbourne side) of Horsham. Ozjohn.

The dumb guy had sold his old computer and was still taking "selfies" (one can only imagine) and they were going directly to his Icloud account which the guy who bought the computer could access. Some clever sluething with GPS etc found him up there as he had run out of petrol.

Another reason it wasn't me is, I have no idea what "Selfies" are.
Oh! I am still here at Greens and the local sheriff did a drive through and the linch mob haven't turned up either.

unfortunatly the cops had a murder to attend to yesterday and ran out of time to come and collect you, they will be around today.
Re Selfies, They are pictures taken on iPad or iPhone while hold it in front of ones self and taking a picture, the young folk are sometimes taking selfies naked and passing them on to their friends via phone or online.
