I think anyone who goes to greens lake will have a great time. even you.
Liddle I really think you are missing the whole point. If you want a forum where everything is always in it's correct place may I suggest you start your own? then you can enforce all your own rules.
We really are an easy going bunch.
Mind you based on your last post in Solos don't be surprised to now find post about greens lake all over the place as per your suggestions that post be in the appropriate sub forum you just might see them everywhere now.
good onya.

I think this Greens Lake sub forum is a great idea.
My intention was to get up there in the Kombi at the end of this month, but he'd done the left hand front wheel bearing and the "drag-link" is just about to jump off due to a very dodgy ball joint and I'm sure that's not a good thing I also need a new battery and I've just been working so many shift lately that I simply haven't had a chance to do the required maintenance, even though I've had the parts for two weeks now! So probably not going to make it in the Kombi this month My work schedule has kept me busy and from getting on this site as much as I would like.
I may still do a day trip in the Rodeo just to say hi to everybody before the silly season starts, but it will have to be soon. Back to full time work from the 12th of December to the 6th of January.
I have a surprise too, but can't spill the beans just yet

Wheel Bearing is easy to do[At least in a rear wheel drive..] - 2-3hr's..
- the press to get in the new seat's in the rotor is a [Female dog] I have done them with a Hammer and the right size Pipe..
Ball joint is not bad if you have the tool's..
- Popping the tapper out is the [Female dog].. Just have to make sure that you have the correct replacement and count the number of turn's you do to undo it..
>> Also do a check to make sure that they are the exact[same] Length
>> once that is done you would be advised to get a wheel alignment..
I've personally done Both in my old car's..
Yes I'm a Sparky by trade and I also tinker in all other craft's..
A Lot of knowledge and ALWAY's Learning new thing's..

Thanks Juergen. Doesn't sound too hard, more time consuming, but I'll have a got at anything.
