A good save for sure but once again the bowlers had to save the day....pity our batsmen can't. The poms will once again do a rain dance to save themselves if it gets to the point that they may lose. Only 1st innings so don't get too ****y.

Fantastic, I thought we were gone for all money, no TV or radio here at the moment - I'll need to check it out on the ABC website.

I was unable to get a ticket to day 1, but have just arrived home after being at the Gabba for day 2.
Absolute brilliance the bowling and catching by the Aussies.
We are virtually no wickets for 220. So great start to 2nd innings.
But we know cricket, and it is not over until the little old lady sings.
If we score around 350 runs Saturday & early Sunday, then the POMS will have to score just under a run a minute to win the TEST.
And I do not think that this has ever happened. But I could be wrong. Have known to be in the past.
Come on!!! Aussies C'mon ... C'mon.

Also.....
I must say that the Courier Mail has allowed itself to be part of some very unprofessional journalism in the manner that they have plastered the POMS.
I am a great believer of some sledging, but the C.M. photos and writings were very un Australian...Just not cricket.

I don,t think that's going to save them. They have been comprehensively outplayed in this test. They were 2/24 in the secondinnings, with 500 plusruns to get at stumps with 2 days to go. I don,t like their cahances on current form.Aussie, Aussie Aussie. Bill

Hope the Poms win again and I'm an Ozzy. Our batsman too damn interested in 20-20 cricket and the money to be earned, to have the patience for test matches...they just want to flog the ball. We should have a dedicated test team that only plays test cricket for 3 years then they can transfer to other forms. Maybe that gets rid of some of the dead wood including Clark.

The poms are 6/ 146 in the second innings, and there are are 40000 people at the Gabba who don't agree with you.I like all forms of cricket, and think the present team are doing a good job. Everybody is entitled to the their opinion. Bill

I guess thats one down and 4 to go ..
If anyone thinks we are in the box seat now then think again the Poms aren't going to give in easy..
