I am trying to find a place for my son to live in Adelaide but can not find anything within his budget.
I have an idea and wondered if any of you can help expand my thoughts.
It seems that you can hire a caravan in Adelaide for $60 per week....now all I need to do is to work out where to put it???
Any thoughts???

Hi Karen,
Welcome to the forum.
Where about's in Adelaide and what's the budget? Is he coming here as a student or for work? How long's he intend staying in Adelaide?
I don't think any of the metropolitan caravan parks are accepting "long-term" stays any more and besides they'd be charging $20-$30 a night and the total cost would probably be more expensive than shared accommodation. Have you had a look on Gumtree (Real Estate >> share house)?

Thanks for the feedback...
he needs to be in the southern suburbs near his girls and he has a very small budget.
He is only just managing to pay $100 per week where he is now...the owner had his second stroke last week and my son has been asked to move out.
I have looked everywhere on the internet and every place costs heaps more.
I love looking outside the square but really can't work this one out????
Living 500km away does not allow me to help much other that phone calls and internet searching

Try Sturt River CP - they take long-stay, and I *think* it's around $110 a week....
