Pardon my ignorance, what's the deal with greens lake?
is it a free camp, allocated area or private park?
we are looking for somewhere to explore/stay between Melbourne and echuca. Somewhere to take the van, preferably with the dogs. Between sat 21 and wed arvo. (Christmas Family dinner in echuca).
our preference is to go somewhere we can socialise with others as we get a bit bored with our own company. We are more "empty nesters" rather "grey nomads" but are honing our skills.
Cheers for any info, have a good safe Christmas one and all.
Regards
carliz.

Head to Greens Carliz, it's a free camp by the lake and I'm sure you will be welcomed by all and sundry who are there currently.
I have been there 4 times over the past few years and always had a relaxing time and dogs are welcomed.
Cheers
Brett

Yes indeed Carliz - come on down as they say - or that should be up I suppose - good stop off point for an easy run into Echuca - you will be most welcome - love meeting all the new people who arrive!!!!!
Lots of room for the dogs to have a run - also flushing toilets - lake water for washing etc! And we have a fire every night, weather permitting! Our biggest group so far has been 24, and there are about 14 of us here at the moment!!!

I stop at Greens to pop into Echuca for family Xmas as well. Works well for me. Oh yes, I have a dog too.
Hey Carliz - are you coming to Greens tomorrow??? - What vehicle will you be in? Look for a sign that says "Grey Nutters Welcome"
