Getting warm now and warmer over the weekend with 40's expected all this week coming.
Might just have to do my late night dip tonight, well it hard work here you know. I finally decided to crawl out of the cot around 9.00am and thought, mmmm, what will I do today, I know, have breakfast and finish off what I started yesterday.
Nothing much at all than to enjoy all the free entertainment on the water. Now I only do this hard yacka to help out my mate's Dazren and Wombat.

Sounds rough Doug, does the lake water depth go out gradually or is there a sudden drop off at a certain point?

Are you going late night skinny dipping?

Yes Vic, the lake gradually deepens as you walk out. Can be out a fair distance and still only waist deep. Ideal for skinny dipping at midnight.

Vic, gradually and you have to go out a bit to get it deep enough to swim. Very muddy under foot and a few rocks here and there so you have to tread carefully.
Triple333, I don't want to scare the local natives away so no skinny dipping from this big black duck but I will enjoy the water though around 10pm and I tell you that for free.
Cloak, never seen any yabbies here yet so that is a miss as well.
There was a dazelled wombat here a while back but he has gone now so no wombat stew either, bugga.

Doug, put a shirt and your hat on, as well as your swimmers, and go in during the day!!! Several times! It will cool you off, and its safer during daylight hours to go swimming. Yeah I know its not surf and its not a fast-flowing river, but we want you to be safe and comfy.

However he was Lucky because when the Magistrate Looked at the Photographs of Dougwe in the Nude, He dismissed the case. '' LACK of EVIDENCE ??

Hey Dazren, you are getting old, um, got old sorry. You have used that line before.
Gerty, thankyou, I now know who my true friends are however I do go in during the day with shirt and hat but like that moonlight dip as well. Not having a shower and just washes it's good to finish a hot day off with a cool dip. Oh, I spose under the shorts I'm in a condition to skinny dip.

Thanks Marg, sounds good, as long as nobody has night vision binoculars (skinny dipping). Any critters in there likely to nibble on your delicate bits ????
My biggest concern would be broken bottles that may have been thrown into the water, so I suppose for me a good idea to wear some sort of footwear just in case.
Doug, thanks for your feedback too.

Rocky, I am fully aware of that forecast I have been keeping in contact with the weather gods. Thanks for reminding me though, I feel hot already. I am more than happy to stay on my water font site.
Rowdy Rabbit arrived late arvo and chickened out and went up under the trees. Us Avaners down here on the waterfront sites are tuff happy campers.
Gerty, the day dips will be plenty I would say from now until I leave.
Vic, nothing in the water to nibble any "Bits", that I know of anyway. I ware runners so safe in that area too. Never seen or heard of broken glass in the water or along the sand, people here are good really, the press get it all wrong as far as I'm concerned. The big crowd here today were ALL very well behaved and had great fun.
Dazren, no conviction, no proof mate.
Gee there was a line up of boats waiting to come in just on dark tonight, took about 1 hour to round them up, very entertaining. I had the late night dip, settled in the Avan and just finished watching another episode of Sons Of Anarchy on the Laptop so all good at Greens.
Dazren mate, This is real hard yacka out here I really think you should just keep working.

Vic, all good, a few fish but none nibble us, they don't even nibble bait on hooks most of the time.
Brandt, water edge probable about 3 foot further away but much much better than late 2012 and early 2013.
Starting to get busy here again. Entertainment time.

Worth risking a nibble on the tiddle bits by tiddlers in the heat of the day, 03.
Thank goodness for a beautiful fresh water lake when the temp's in the 40's. 4 dips yesterday and sit around with wet T-shirt after, just nice.
The weather gods here at Greens must be different to the ones in South West Gippsland as those buggers only give us cold Arctic winds and rain and I tell you that for free.
