So I went to leave Greens the other day. There was a 'clonk, clonk' sound from a caravan wheel. It wasn't pretty.
i figured the side it was coming from and did a u-bolt back to camp, cos I had no idea what to do!!!! And figured some lovely person would help.
thanks to some GN's, one who I didn't even know, had met briefly on a morning walk, the culprit wheel was detected, the hub cap was tried to be removed (no success, threaded whatever you call them) , the wheel was removed, and a fallen bearing cap was found to be the culprit.
And on my merry way I went.
Thank you to all that helped, I didn't even get my hands dirty!!! And the man said, " if you can't help out a fellow person, why be on the road". "We are all here having fun, and it would be a sad world if couldn't look after each other".
Many thanks to all that helped
And yes, it's very rude that I didn't get the lovely man and his wife's name. I was a bit stressed, no excuses tho, and the brain went out of the window....
But he told a great joke

That settles it. As soon as I hit the road, I'm gonna pack a frock and a wig in case of breakdowns.
