We are in the relatively newly opened RV 24hr stop in Kambalda WA. An area in walking distance to supermarket, and shops. Not a huge area, but possibly at least a dozen, parked sensibly could fit in here. There is a dump point, and you can get a hot shower at the Recreation Centre, just next door for $2!! Council are still working on it, not gravelled yet, but solid underneath, so you won't get bogged.
Is in Wikicamps, and will be in the next issue of Camps Australia #8, February next year.
There is also a RV 24hr stop in Coolgardie, haven't been there yet, but it is on Woodward Street, and also one in Kalgoorlie.
Thanks for the feedback Jules, I have stayed at the Kalgoorlie one before but not the other two.
Kalgoorlie Council is very pro RV users, some other towns on the east coast and elsewhere could take a leaf out of their book.

Boulder are going to get one started as well - next to the rail loop line, and hopefully they will have a train, which will take visitors up to the Super Pit.
Not sure when, but heard this yesterday.

When we stayed at the Kalgoorlie one there was a Gourmet Food Van and their fish and hamburgers were to die for!

Still there - they have a shop in town as well - only do the van at weekends.
Monday to Friday a coffee van turns up very early - great coffee, and a small treat for dogs as well!
Moved on back to Kambalda today, a top spot!

Was at the Kambalda free camp, for overnight stop, end of February 2017
Still as per the photo from Jules
Sign saying self contained and no dropping of water on the floor etc
Dump point, water tap, and assume toilet and showers are still near by
Very little rubbish, so in appreciation of this free camp, I cleaned up the rubbish from the skate park next door
