would love some feedback please on towing caravan from Sale Victoria to Dargo then Dargo to Wangaratta via Bright?
Is it bit hairy or ok?
Thanks Dianne and Stuart

I don't think it is caravan country north Dargo. I would consider it in a high clearance 2WD vesicles in good conditions.

Yes I did wonder. I saw a nice campsite advertised but wasn't sure I was happy to travel the road to get there.
Cheers Dianne

If you go through omeo way there are great camping places along the way however the road Is tight in some places but bitumen all the way. You might try stopping at The Blue Duck which is actually Anglers rest. Victoria falls is another nice spot and then travel towards beech worth and wangarattta
you can find these places on Wikicamps

The road up to Dargo is no problem at all, from Dargo to the Alpine Way is all dirt, and a bit hilly in places. I've travelled it a few time with a road van no real problem at all but you need to go slow in places as there can be bad corrugations, but would have no reservation about going over it again. The country is superb when you get on the top on the Dargo high plains. Plenty of places to pull off for the night. In fact going up that way next week.
