Anyone travelled from the Bruce up to Mena Creek (Paranella Park)? What's the road like? Is it ok for vans?

we did go into Paranella Park last August, we enjoyed the whole experience staying at the park overnight, the sites are bit on the small side but manageable. It did rain leading up to our visit and during, so we made the most of it, a wonderful experience. 

We went in one way and out the other towing our caravans. Ralph
