Faithful Ol' Bluey.......a man's best mate....
In the arid interior of Australia an old Gold Prospector is staggering along with his faithful old Blue Heeler "Bluey" by his side....
....water has given out that morning and no food......
He looks into the eyes of faithful ol' Bluey...."well me ol' mate, we've been through a lot in our time,..and now it's come to this.....
it's either you or me as he reaches for his .22....and poor ol' faithful Bluey goes to 'Heeler Heaven'
....and he thinks to himself with tears wellowing in both his fly covered eyes........
....never thought it would come to this,...where a man has to eat his closest mate......
....that night by the camp fire the old Prospector is sucking on the last 'Bluey' bone, and throws it into the small pile of bones,
......and pensively thinks to himself..while reflecting on the good times, with Bluey as a puppy......
.......Ol' Bluey would have loved to chew them bones..............................................
