Is the road from Dorrigo to Woolgoolga via Ulong / Nana Glen suitable for Caravans. Is this a better route than via Bellingen and Coffs Harbour.

It has been a while since I ws on this road, better left to as a senic drive, some beaut view points. I don't believe it would of had any real money spent on it. Narrow and unsealed.
Dorrigo, Bellingen, Coffs Harbour Road would be the better choice. There is a long decent very easily managed by selecting a low gear near the top and walking your vehice down, no use rushing these thing, most people will be taking there time and are used to it in that area.
This way is sealed with some overtaking lanes built in. Some great scenic spots along the way. Bellingen good for a ice cream, showground camping or just east there is a sport field where you can camp for the night.

That sports ground is not a legal spot to camp for the night.
Be careful, can get expensive to think you are saving money and wear a fine for ILLEGAL Camping.
