Hi , Wondering if anyone has traveled this road with a van. How steep and winding is it. We will be going thru this area late May. Rod.

Most people don't have a problem going this way. No real challenge.
There is a freedom camp at Bylong, donations paid over at the shop, has good amenities and very quite.
The other way which has a small challenge is from Denman over to Bylong. There is a railway tunnel that has some history for the railway buffs.

I thought the "small challenge" was on the section that was common to both routes. There is a bit of a climb over a range but it is no problem to competent drivers driving well balanced rigs.

Travelled through last Monday. It is a nice interesting drive. As PeterD said the climb over the range isn't any problem and actually it appears they have just widened a lot of the road in that section. Rod.
