Greetings all
Just a note on camping in the Jurien/ Cevantes sand plain country.
This coastal area is well known for more than its share of kangaroo ticks which you will find on the back of your leg in the knee crease if you go bush walking in thongs and shorts.
If you go walking through this wildflower rich bush ware suitable clothing and insect spay.
Resist the urge to walk along the kangaroo trails through the thick scrub, you guest it that is where the little critters are waiting about knee high to drop on when bumped.
Just like a splinter, ticks easily removed with tweezers by grasping the head.
Wandoo Reserve is a top place for a quiet rest after a long drive.
Happy trails
