From Bomaderry to Kangaroo Valley and the Bridge is a decent climb, but not too bad - From Kangaroo Valley up to Moss Vale a few very hairpin bends where you need low-down power while negotiating bad curves.
Parking is always a premium (particularly on week-ends) you may find it difficult to park near items of interest in the valley village.

It is a very popular destination visited by lots of RVs, slow in places, drive to the conditions and enjoy.
Camping is very popular at Bendeela.

Have a look at this - Kangaroo Valley area, Australia - I think it is driving up from the Bomaderry side into the valley. It's certainly not going through the township and up the other side of the valley. You can see that it is a full 2 lane road.

Jade, that description of the road sounds more like the road p from Berry. That road is a no go road for trailers.

@ Peter, There are a couple of hairpin bends on the top section of road KV to Moss Vale maybe that's what they're referring to. I have taken my van up there with Patrol tug, but I could understand that there are some less confident travellers who don't do steep roads with hairpin bends.
But from Bomaderry to KV is OK and that's where Jade is enquiring about.

I know he is just wanting to go past the village. That's why I told him the video also does not go past the village. If you watch carefully that it does not pass much in the way of buildings and so does not go the full way through the valley and up the other side. I included that bit to allay any concern that the road trip did not cover his intended trip.
As far as driving through the valley, most drivers are more worried about the Good Dog Mountain side and not the western side. The lack of road shoulders and close proximity of the safety fences seems to worry them more than the hairpin curves.
