Does anyone have any comments on the under bed finch airconditioner. Looking for feedback on vibration or noise.

If somebody going to Install an air cond in existing van.
I'd be seriously looking at a Household Split INVERTER unit.
Lot's have been fitted (providing you have the right area for it.)
and lots are very happy. LG Inverter..are popular.
LOTS more efficient. Cheaper. A lot quieter.
Look at reviews and reputations of caravan air conds.
they 20 yrs behind the times and cost twice the price of others.
Plus don't do a very good job.

I would question how good this could be. Not my subject but I believe Newton's law regarding energy is you can not gain or loose energy you can only transform it. My question here is this unit seems to be inside where you want to cool. To gain cool you have to get rid of heat, where is the heat going? Rob.

Ok if it sucks air from under the floor to cool the evaporator and vents it back out there that may be ok. Its not the cleanest place, you will have to maintain filters often. My second problem is this. If you run this overnight it will be noisy. Sure it may just be a gentle hum but it will be annoying. My neighbor has one of those evaporative things on his roof, only time it annoys me is at the dead of night as you hear it start up. So noise you have to multiply be several from midnight to dawn. Rob.
