Hi I have a 2011 concept van and it has blown an out side light. i can't figure out how to remove to replace globe

You should be able to prise the plastic lens from the housing. Replacement opposite of removal. Good luck.

I've converted a few of these to LED for people but can't remember what type bulb is in them, I'm pretty sure from memory that the grey part is a cover, carefully remove that (unclips) then there should be some screws under to remove the clear lens.

Thank you one and all, I will try again later (out at the moment). I might have been to gentle, the surround is soft like aluminium and I was worried I would break the lens, worse case scenario is it breaks and replace whole unit.. will keep posted

That may be the best case. You can then replace the incandescent fitting with a LED one and get more light for less current.

Got it, the outside case held on with 4 clips and a heap of silicon, then 4 screws hold the lense in place and more silicon. A small 2 globe fluo. Now to decide replace globe or going with led, hopefully get a led to fit inside the original cover othwise have old holes to contend with. Thanks again for the help... :))

Well done Stl! Could be worth a quick google as most 12v lights have LED equivalents. Either that or post a pic on here.

Any existing light fitting providing its' is in good condition can be converted to LED. Bulbs and G4 type halogens are easy there's adapters and or LED globes that could go straight in. however yours is a fluro, these are doable again with a few options but the electronic starter must be bypassed first. Since the light fitting doesn't have a switch you could just remove everything to do with the fluro, because all you'll need is the Positive & Negitive wires going into the fitting to hook up whatever LED you decide to put in. With the size of that fitting there's a few options I can think of you could use but that would really depend on how bright you want the light and how much power you want to save.
Most options I can think of would use less power than the original fluro's and be a lot brighter too.
