Some of those van look to be able to be repaired.
If you click on the van you are interested in it shows more photos and also has seller location....
One I looked at was Eagle Farm Brisbane.

I believe the only caravan wrecker in Australia is in Wodonga in Vic. I have spoken to them recently and that was his claim.

I believe that Hodgsons Caravans Kalaroo Rd. Redhead (Lake Macquarie) provide storage, repair, wreck and sell parts for caravans. I went there to enquire about storage of our new van but due to having to give them notice to either drop off or pick up decided on another place just up the road. You could always give them a call if you were looking for something in particular.

I can just picture it Dibsy, acres full of half stripped vans rotting away, broken drawbars, cupboards in heaps on the floor, inside panelling with moss growing on it due to the water leaks...... just what would you salvage from each van to make it worth the cost and storage and getting rid of what wasn't wanted and still remain financially viable?

Be aware that statutory write-offs are against the VIN and are recognised the same in all states. They can never be re-registered ever anywhere.
NSW does not have repairable write-offs. ALL write-offs in NSW are statutory write-offs.
Any write-off can NEVER be reregistered in NSW without first reregistering them in another state and then transferring the rego.
Never buy any write-off from NSW as they are worthless everywhere except for parts
Vic has repairable write-offs as does many other states.
Vic does not have a costly VIV inspections system for trailer/van repairable write-offs. You simply go and reregister them.
Buy a repairable write off from any state except NSW. Register it in Vic. Transfer it to NSW or other state if required.
For Statutory write-offs understand that it is the trailer (chassis) that is written-off, not the van body.
You can take a statutory write-off and transfer the entire body to a different chassis such as a repairable write-off chassis and reregister it in Vic just by getting VicRoads to issue a new low volume trailer VIN if the swap over chassis doesn't already have one, booking a VicRoads VIN number inspection ($17.90) and paying the $56.90 rego.
With all the caravans going to auction as non repairable write of I was wondering where the yard could be
Do you have a link to this auction please
