Does anyone know if they need to be lubricated? Ours have had a lot of use and no longer look pristine like the one in the picture.
Can't find any information on the AL-KO web page...
Would be pleased to learn of others' experience with these.
Cheers

I suppose it would not hurt but it's not a not like a bearing surface that has a lot of movement ,and it could make a mess if overdone, I won't be lubricating mine some people probably will thats just my opinion on it...

Use some silicon spray around the exposed moving parts, it won't attract dust like oil or wd40.

Thanks rgren,
I was thinking I would try that or powdered graphite, but thought I'd check with others to see what experience they have had. I guess you have used silicone spray successfully?

I have the same, I just use silicon spray, don't use lanolin, it makes a mess. Used mainly as a rust prevention.

If there's a thread anywhere. I have an oil can and just lube it occasionally.
Otherwise a dab of grease on hinges where they swing up/down.

I've always used silicone spray on mine but will be using the graphite powder in future (that my wonderful mate put me onto). That stuffs awesome, and nearly zero chance of more dust attraction.
Next job on my list one day is getting them all cleaned up and repainted. Has anyone done that and what did they use? I have a bit of a plan in my head...but not a firm one.
Our van has these drop-down legs:
