well did a few jobs on the van cleaned out the hot water tank found the sacrificial rod is finished presume that I will be able to get one at a caravan shop ? See pic
Then after flushing and refilling, had very little water coming through the hot tap, so after reading the instructions, ( yes ladies I read the instructions ) but no help there, so started looking around and finally found the tempering valve , removed it for a look and found a nice little filter in there that was blocked, a quick wash out and re assembled, excellent flow now, but , there's always a "but" , now I have more water coming out the hot tap then the cold, can't find a filter on that line however since packing up and resting I had a thought, scary I know , but I were sitting down at the time , is there a little filter in the tap set on the sink into each tap because the hot side is fine so it's not the one in the outlet ( checked it before attacking the tempering valve )

You're on the right track with that anode. Most caravan shops will stock them, only the price and the size will vary. Smaller capacity heaters have shorter anodes, generally we buy a standard one and cut it to the length of the old one. Price can vary a lot. We bought two from an ebay supplier last week for $39 the pair. Beats the $35 each I've paid previously.
Your cold water flow issue has me stumped. There must be a reducer somewhere, maybe crud build up or even a crushed pipe under the van. Might be time to pull apart some of the connections and check the flow at various points along the path. Good luck.

Can't pull the fittings apart on the water they have a copper ring fitted to the fittings looks like a once only use even though I can't figure out how they fitted them on in the first place never seen them before, all pipes are internal

Hi.
Normally those fittings.
Press down\up the small collar round the pipe where it goes into any
fitting with fingernails..
Then PULL on pipe end while holding down\in.
There'll be a little resistance then it'll pop out.
Done properly.
They have a "locking collar" (like a c clip) round the slider between it and fitting face to stop people releasing.
Fingernail or small s'driver job. Hook it out first and keep.
When reinstalling.
Make sure you go PAST the point of resistance to stop it leaking\popping out again.
Then replace c clip to lock again.
Have fun.
PS.
Over the yrs. Any pipes seen by sun will deteriorate and develop PIN HOLES.
while becoming really brittle.
Replace, they cheap enuff and fitting reusable if NOT too old.

Hmmm. From the photo it looks like your pipes have swaged ends which means the fittings are permanently attached. Maybe it's possible to unscrew the fitting at each end and blow through it to make sure there's no blockage. Might even have to take the tap right off to check it.

Thanks guy the three fittings on the tempering valve are the reuseable type as described by Macka17 and I am quite familiar with those as they are common on truck air lines it's the ones on the red and the White hose I were talking about having a copper band around them instead of the normal hose clamp.
I removed the tap unit from the sink today and found lots of calcium type gunk blocking it , cleaned it and I now have full flow all is well in the world, well the van anyway, ready for the long weekend
