Any information on the road from Bingara NSW to Narrabri, the Kilarney Gap Road would be appreciated, was wondering what sort of climb is involved.......22ft rig with a Colorado dragging it along.

I was going to do that today but changed my mind just as I left Coonabarabran heading east on the Oxley. Much easier drive I would think.

It is an easy drive as we have done it several times with A 21ft van towed with a Colorado. Make sure you stop at the national park it is worth the look. There is a car park at the top you can turn around

Won't have time sorry Jules. Heading to Bingara to wait out a few days while eldest son carches up to me. Then straight to Hervey Bay.

That's ok. Relaxing at Bingara before making a mad dash up to Hervey Bay. Catch up another time.

Thanks Dreamcatcher, sounds like we have the same rigs actually and sorry for the delay Happywanderer, been offline, won't be at Bingara till Thurs/Fri in Toowoomba at the moment soaking up the cool weather.
How's the water in the river we hope to spend a week there, take that long to decide where next, though Temora on the 18th is a must.....

I haven't been up there this year yet as we use it as a staging point when we travel north and then when coming home south. Due to the rain fall the river should be up and if they have released the water from the dam the algae should be washed away. There are several areas to camp so enjoy your self and if you haven't been there before make sure you do a tour of the old theatre

The river is full to the top and fast flowing. Someone said it was because they opened a dam higher up.
Has been like this for a while so I've been told.
Even watched a couple of kayakers go past yesterday.
Daisy is still having a swim but tied to a long lead so she doesn't float away.
Leaving tomorrow.
