Ok everyone. How do you go about fixing a TV when you have a pop top. Currently sits at end of counter then on bed when we move. Any ideas?

We have a flat screen LCD TV and we leave it in the orginal carton it came in and simply lay it on the bed. There is a wall at the foot of the bed which will stop the TV from moveng forward under hard braking. The TV travelling position is directly over the wheels, so any bouncing caused by bumps will be minimised as well.

We take ours off the wall bracket, pack it in the original box & place it on the floor down the side of our double bed so that it can't move.

We always, in fact still do put tv ON the bed, under the pillows, face up when travelling.
When we had a poptop, when using it, like you it stood on it's foot on a bench top where the power & aerial points were.
That was the simplest way for us.

We just put flat scr tv wherever in van is comfortable to watch
. NOT in the too high mounting place given by van mfg.
Travelling, on bed under pillows with cat.

Ditto for storing it on the bed under the pillows we still have the box it came in but I don't worry about putting the TV in it I just put it straight on the bed. Our single beds are at the front of the van with a dressing table between them so even under heavy braking it can't really go anywhere maybe if I was going off road I may use the box as added protection. We also put the glass microwave dish wrapped in a tea towel in the magazine pocket on the wall holds it very nicely and isn't going anywhere.

And the cat tray fits nicely in the step space at door.
Water in sink.
One day travelling in really hot weather.
Stopped to check cats.
BOTH sitting in water in sink looking as me.
"What took you so long dad". More water please. this getting warm.
Quick dunk in bucket of tank water chilled with ice from freezer.
They ready for next leg.
But we had them in car with Aircond on and windows up.
That dunking in bucket of water.
is best way to cool any small pet down. along with a hosing with fan jet
on sprinkler.
