I have a problem tonight.
Camped 24ks NW Longreach Qld. My Dometic fridge Model RM4605 will not switch over onto gas. All other gas appliances (gas water heater & stove) are working. Could be some bad fish by morning. Any suggestions of a possible fix will be more than appreciated.

Access the burner behind the fridge and clean it out, probably got some gunk in the jet.
Can you hear the clicker working as you are trying to start it?

Try the following :
Gas troubleshooting
If the Warning indicator lamp (F) is lit, there has been a failure
of gas operation. To troubleshoot, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the refrigerator. (Press the ON/OFF (1) to
OFF.)
2. Check that there is enough gas in the gas bottle, that its
valve is open and that any valves in the gas line to the
refrigerator are open.
3. Turn on the refrigerator again. (Press the ON/OFF button
(1) to ON .) After 10 sec. AES will repeat the ignition
sequence.
4. Should the warning lamp come on again after approx. 6
minutes, the failure is still present. Repeat the procedure
once more. If this does not help, contact an authorised
service provider in your area.

By Now the fish are probably going off
But get access to the burner & check:
[a] if the igniter is sparking across to the burner& has not shifted position
[b[ That carbon has not fallen down onto the burner, i blocking the burner or shorting out the spark.
[c] check that you have 12V at the control input terminals [the small cables from the house battery]
I expect you have been over some rough roads.????

Hope you got it going.
and. For future fresh fish. Steaks. and Ice Cream.
Pleeeze dump it and get a Waeco type 12\240v unit.
If travelling daily. an 80\160w panel with 85a wet or 100\110a AGM
will keep all fresh.
