G'day all. Help please. My Air command Heron Q is having problems. It runs for a short time then E3 flashes, compressor stops and the fan keeps running. After a while the compressor starts again and the stop start sequence does it again. I have tried a Google search with no luck. We are still in the top end. Not overly hot or humid (for here). Any one any ideas?
Cheers.

They don't make it easy to find the error codes, do they!
Thanks all. It would seem that I need an aircon doctor next place I stop for a few days.
Cheers.

WE have an air command cormorant. In its second year of service but no longer under warranty, we started getting the E3 error. Fortunately we were in SA, and were able to take it (and the van) back to Air Cormorant in Adelaide. They had the unit for just over an hour, repositioned the sensors, and sent us away happy. No Charge. Not sure how you would go now that Dometic have taken it over.

If it's not the filter the manual for the Ibis:
http://www.aircommand.com.au/docs/IbisTechManual.pdf
Shows the "E3" code to be an "Outside coil sensor fault". Most designers would keep the same error codes across an entire product range but...?
Cheers.
Observe error code
Reconnect sensor #1
Disconnect sensor #2
Observe error code
Reconnect sensor #2
Disconnect sensor #3
Observe error code
Reconnect sensor #3
etc
Cheers.
