It's Battery.
Vans battery??.
Arrange charging for van battery and link Breakaway to that if not already.

Thanks macka17 but there is no power available at the storage place, our old van didn't have this breakaway stuff! Is it ok to disconnect the system?

Chase the wires and disconnect the NEG.
Although a "coupla months" with decent battery shouldn't hurt.
With van Battery.
Fully charge. Disconnect Neg and leave it.
You normally do get some leak back to\from somewhere.
I installed accessory Brake thing. wired it into van wiring\battery.
But mine beside pool. Solar.

Hi bushbaby.
Like Macka said above, make sure fully charged and disconnect neg on both, or just neg on brakeaway and put some solar out to conditikn your battery whilst not being used.
Hope this helps.

Yep, if the solar panels are covered the battery will slowly discharge. Buy a small 5 or 10watt 12v panel and hook it up to the battery to provide a trickle charge. Mine is plugged into the Anderson plug.
My 5 watt panel was only $12 on eBay.
We also leave plenty of ant rid around the van.

Ifyou have a water heater, you might consider emptying it- saves the anode.

If ants are likely to be a problem then an open container with a cup or two of vinegar in it will keep the ants at bay.

Pete.
If long term INSIDE. the smell of Vinegar will permeate the van.
Dry areas.
I always sprinkle heavy Baby Talc powder over ALL contact points to ground.
Any power cable. with a loop, bottom of in a small dish of light oil.
This all if van INSIDE of course?.
Outside, a 10w panel on van battery will do it all.
