Are you certain that it hasn't lost power Val?

I don't think so because the switch on the side of the jack turns red and the one on the wall plate is green. want as much information as possible to what could be wrong before trying to take all antenna off.
thanks val

Welcome to the gang Val, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Maybe have a chat to a CV accessary place as they may have parts or get them for you. Could also just be a loose wire inside that section. I have the same one and that cover just slips off to check.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

If you google Jack antenna fault finding, there is a PDF file on fault finding.
