The annual departure and return to the Lake is about to take place...I hope all the happy campers have their packing cartons, Removalists and U-Haul booked.
A damned nuisance, IMO, for those settled in.
As usual it is the very few (LOCALS) in the past that have spoiled it for the rest.
And I wonder where the local constabulary have been on NYE in days gone by...on double time paid shifts...but they do turn up at most mysterious other hours these days, indeed.
Just thinking out aloud!

Pity more of them are not turning up - the Christmas road toll is an atrocious statement of speed, negligence and drunken driving.
The statistics on speeding, alcohol, drugs, unlicenced, unregistered are mind blowing - the sooner all Police cars are fitted with the new in car radar computers (as NSW HWP) that can identify recalcitrant motorist and drivers and point to point cameras are on all major roads, the safer we and our loved ones will be.

Yep, all out now. The road is closed off and gates locked as well. Thunder storms hit late this afternoon as well so wet everywhere you look around the area's.

Wow, what a experience! Who would have thought the line up to get back into greens would be so crazy. All settled in, enjoying the noisy serenity once again. Stretch.

Any waterfront sites up the east end of Lakeside Drive?

Only the odd spot here and there Rusty. Plenty elswhere though. Very, very busy as usual for this time of year but most seem to be on good behaviour bonds
My suggestion would be, arrive early in the day to get a spot, before the day trippers arrive. They don't seem to be leaving until dark.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Instead of whinging DickO, try giving thanks and appreciation for the privelige of being able to access such a nice spot to camp, particularly with no time restrictions and fees. Some people want it all their way? Happy New year.

So far you're the only one that misread the post?
When you get here come and have a beer with us regulars at Happy Hour near the boat ramp, any time between now to Easter.
Cheers Mate!

Nothing like seeing us in 3D Rusty. True 3D too, not this digital 3D stuff.
