Hi everybody
Just after opinions from those who have actually used a Westinghouse 2400i. Not after a debate about why or when or just don't. Truly interested in the opinion of anyone that's used one.
The husband and I have used the search function and have found 1 entry from a member that has one, so just asking to see if there are any more first hand anecdotes. We don't want comparisons, I dont want to get into a debate as to whether or not we need one, we just want to know how they go.
Thanks in advance. C.

We have one tipsypixie & we are very happy with it. Used it when camping remotely & it has always performed very well. On the eco mode it runs for ages. It is not the quietest, but it is by no means near the noisiest either. I looked at the db ratings of all generators prior to buying & ours is at the quieter end of the scale, which was important. Friends of ours also purchased one after witnessing ours in use & they are also very happy. Even when it has been parked away in hibernation, it fires up quickly; none of this cranking away bs.
If you have any fuerther questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks Bob+Deb - how easy is it to pull start?

Always in the first 3 pulls tipsypixie. It is not like a lawnmower where it requires effort, it is quite easy to use. Just need to make sure that you open the fuel vent & use choke if cold.
I also have a cable & huge weatherproof lock for it. Not really necessary as I am always close by when it is in use.

Thanks again - lock I think we've already got sorted, cable I'll put on the purchase list 'cause frankly, we hadn't given it a thought. Thanks heaps, much appreciated.

Thank you so very much for that PlainTruth. Had a look through the link provided and it's all very positive.
