Julie Andrews Turning 79 - this is hysterical!

To commemorate her birthday , actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP. One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favourite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of Music'. 

Here are the lyrics she used:

I assume that you were making a general comment, which may be fair enough too & are not referring to me as one who attributed it to some one or other.  I couldn't really give a stuff who was the originator.  I just picked it off an email & thought that the lyrics were clever & deserved sharing; perhaps to give someone a Sunday morning giggle.

You were simply the conduit that provided the info to this forum. You did not write the text you simply cut and pasted it to here - from an email similarly broadcast to all and sundry.

The yobs that incorrectly, and mischiefly, attributed it to Julie Andrews need a life.

I guess they think that it gives credence to the joke because it is attached to a 'celebrity'.

Rest easy Cupie, like the millions of others, you too understandably considered it valid that Julie Andrews originated those lyrics.

..... and yes, they are clever and worthy of a giggle in their own right ... the originator did not need to attribute them to Julie Andrews.
