Try the search bar and type in diesel heaters, there have been a few posts in the last few months and even supplied pics of their self installations.
I like the idea of one version where you pair it with a smart phone and switch it on before you get home/ back to the Van.

Try this website and see how many versions and prices there are.
A lot of EBay sellers buy from here.
You can see the majority are a knock off of the European Eberspacher, the original truck diesel heater. Tucked in amongst the crowd are the Planar and snugger versions.
I've bought stuff from this mob and waiting for delivery is the big bugbear.
BTW AliExpress do have an Australian Website but most of the stuff comes from China.

My 'ducted' heating is gas not deisel but love it and wouldn't leave home without it. I had gas fitted as I have two 9kg gas bottles on the front of the aluminium teepee already so didn't want to go adding anything else.
Just thought I'd throw that in as a alternative maybe.

Trouto,
I bought a 5 kw unit from Ebay. Quite a job fitting it and the fuel tank but it went in very well and it is brilliant. I think 5 kw is a bit big for my van but it quickly heats cold van and goes into idle mode keeping van warm at which time it is almost silent. Much quieter than and electric fan heater or an AC.
I'm happy with my purchase.
Cheers,
Roy E.
