Hello. We have a Dometic 90 Ltr three way fridge. I have had it on 240V and the Freezer keeps icing over. I had it on 10 to start then backed off to 4 but still happens. What am I doing wrong. What's busted or not. I haven't tried it on Gas yet . We are holed up for a longish term at this point. What's going on?

Hi Phill, sounds like the thermostat has died & fridge is flat_ out all the time, if You can get the thermostat out it can be checked with a multimeter set to resistance ( I think), no blocked water drain channels in freezer box?
Try it on gas, may give a clue to whats going on,

My Thetford 180 three way does the same. Gas or 240v. Has done since new.I just take things out and put in fridge section and turn down to 1 with freezer door open and basically let it thaw out. Then put still frozen things back in freezer and back up, usually 3.

Not surprising it iced up on 10 (the coldest), just turning it down to 4 wont help as the ice will remain, give it a defrost and start again somewhere between 3 and 4.

You need to totally deftost it then turn it back on.
Start with setting 3 and make adjustments from there.

I had this problem on our Thetford 180, turned out to be a faulty temperature sensor. It is a small item clipped between the cooling fins inside the fridge. A repair agent came to us, replaced it and charged Thetford for warranty repair. All good now.

If it is icing up excessively when the temperature is OK, it is likely that the door is leaking which allows x/s moisture to get in to the evaporator.
Check the door seals - put a good torch inside at night and close the door. If any light gets out, moisture will get in.
