Not at the moment. Had some friends there last weekend (Melb Cup Long Weekend). Apparently it was very busy. I'm planning to have a few days there on my way to Jingellic sometime later this month / early next month.

It was lovely & peaceful a month ago when we were there.
Good to see a fenced enclosure erected next to the dump masters to stop the overflow blowing around.
It was full of rubbish too.

That has been taken away now. Only the two dumpsters there.
Was told by the guy in Mitre 10 Rochester that the funding for the new toilet block has been approved

What is the ground like out there at the moment? With today's weather and more of the same tomorrow, am thinking it could be a bit squishy underfoot.
Anyone know?

Its been so dry down this part of the planet (in Vic west of the Hume hwy) that most rainwater disappears into the ground fairly quick. Im hoping Greens is no exception as Im planning to have a day or two there next week.

LLD I'm in Echuca about 50ks away from Greens. We've had a couple of days of stormy weather go through.
I'm now walking through ankle deep water to get to my van in my daughters back yard.
This being the reason for asking and from past experience I know it turns into a quagmire out there after a bit of rain.
Very easy to get bogged.

I'm in Ballarat North and we missed out on all the storms (despite what the media said about parts of Ballarat & District) so it's was dry here - until now. It started drizzling last night just after my reply and has not stopped. It's now quite wet underfoot. Probably won't get bogged but absolutely no traction.

I think most wait until the school kiddies are back at school at end of January to soak up the serenity.
