Anybody out there have or had one of these great vans made by Majestic? I am tidying up the wiring which as been added to ad lib by the previous 2 owners. I need to replace the caravan main neutral and positive wires. Does anybody know where the cable runs after entering the wall from the front bin. BeforeI start pulling out the fridge etc does anyone have a wiring diagram or knowledge of this van. Original 3 way fridge replaced by 12/240 electric.
The cabelling in my teepee are going the length of the van about half way up the sides. Then cable branching of to different locations.
Not much help probably but maybe a starting point.
To do the job properly you might need to take the outside lining off.

Thanks Doug. Just what I am trying to avoid. I understand that it may be the only option.

As of yet I've never seen a wiring diagram of any Australian built caravan - They all seem to be ad hoc and add on - it would not be tolerated in any other industry.

Stripping the outside skin off would seem like the only practical solution.
As the 3rd owner in 15 yrs you'll probably reveal a Charlotte's web.
We shopped around for second hand caravans for a year before biting the bullet & buying a new one.
Too many DIY jobs with wiring hanging out all over the place in many instances.
God knows what the previous owners had been up to?

Sadly this is probably true. The previous owner kept a detailed diagram of his mods which has been very helpful.

Spoken with caravan repairer and he has helped with location of loom. It only has two wires and runs to a junction behind the fridge. I will take out the fridge, easy job, and see what I can find. Fortunately all added items have had separate wire runs with over sized cable so no problem with overloading. I have installed a fuse box to replace the 7 flying lead fuses that had been stacked onto the battery terminal. Now just the link to fuse box and CTEK 250 direct to battery.
Thanks again for your interest.

Found wire termination behind new fridge. Replaced by pulling new cable back through to front bin. Not that difficult after all.
Thanks for your interest and suggestions.
